Cold Current Kelp is a women-owned kelp farm and skincare company in Southern Maine. Business partners Inga and Krista are good friends who share a desire to grow kelp for its many environmental benefits and its incredible potential as a nutrient-packed ingredient. Starting their seaweed journey in 2021, their goal is to create clean skincare products that are unique, authentic, and effective. Cold Current Kelp is committed to sustainability, clean ingredients, and spreading the power of seaweed in skincare.

Benefits

Powerful polysaccharides like fucoidan and laminarin, vitamins C & E, and phlorotannins possess potent anti-oxidative activity to help protect skin from damaging free radicals. Fucoidan, a melanin inhibitor, brightens skin while preventing the breakdown of collagen and elastin, and potent natural pigments like fucoxanthin combat the effects of UV-induced aging. Hydrating amino acids moisturize and protect skin’s delicate barrier, while laminarin soothes skin and promotes cell regeneration. Subtly scented with lavender oil, known for its calming and relaxing effects.

How to Use

Massage 3-5 drops onto clean face morning & night.

Allow oil to absorb for 3 minutes before applying makeup or SPF.

Pro tip: Apply immediately after drying face. May be mixed with moisturizer. For extra dry skin (think mid-January in Maine), apply moisturizer first and seal in with KelpGlow® Facial Oil.
